Welcome to my Story page. Here you will find a story told through various social media platforms about the World Wildlife Fund. This story shows the amazing differences that the World Wildlife Fund makes in its efforts, in both the environment and wildlife, to save our beautiful planet.
STORY

I chose to do my story on the non-profit organization World Wildlife Fund because I believe that the work they do is extremely vital in sustaining our world’s environment and wildlife. The overall goal of this story project is to spread awareness about the countless plights that World Wildlife Fund is attempting to overcome, and to encourage the audience to contribute to the cause. I chose to do Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter posts because I feel as though many young adults are interested in environmental issues. With that being said, I believe that these three media platforms provide the most effective medium in reaching this generation of young adults.
I chose to use informal language because I believe that my audience responds better to casual language rather than formal language. By using informal language, I am more likely to create posts that my audience will be more interested in reading, and there is also a higher chance that my audience will identify more with my posts.
My story meets criteria for elements of an effective story in that it discusses all of the various aspects of my organization. Each posts reflects on a different issue on which World Wildlife Fund focuses. By doing so, my story goes a step further as it explains each smaller issue, rather than just focusing on the greater problem. In addition to this, each post incites action on the part of the audience. Whether it is clicking a link, signing a petition or ordering a new visa card to contribute to the cause.
